Pro Tips: See Version History in Google Docs

Writer: Alpha MooseAlpha Moose

Alpha Moose Editing uses Google Docs quite often thanks to its user-friendly, collaborative abilities. But did you know you can see the version history of every single document?

1. Open the document. 2. Select “File” from the top menu bar. 3. Select “Version history” > “See version history”. (You can also press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + H)

The history will open up to the right with date/time and the person who made the edit. If you’re taking advantage of AME’s social media management, you’ll see the month’s initial posts as well as the final posts for that month.
